The Common Heartbeat is the blog of Common Heart.

Common Heart is a grassroots organization that fosters volunteer community action to address specific issues of hunger and poverty located in Indian Trail NC. “Bridging the Gap Together” is a summation of the mission

“This loose group of “friends” is bound together by a desire to put their faith into action and demonstrate the love of God in practical ways. Our desire is to connect families in need with churches, community organizations, nonprofits and caring individuals who can help in a variety of practical ways. One of the hallmarks of this movement is showing love by meeting practical needs, listening, caring, praying and just being friends with our neighbors in need.”
